(STOCKTON, CA - 8/6/11) Colby Potts guided his Economy Signs/
Nascimento Motorsports Western Late Model to solid 4th and 6th
place finishes Saturday night in a pair of twin fifty lap main events at
Stockton 99 Speedway. After a 2nd place qualifying effort; just short
of pole which was set by the last car out, points leader Jeff Belletto.
After a 4th place finish in the first main event,  Colby wrestled
his way through the pack after multiple incidents to a hard earned
6th. The first race was smooth and with a few adjustments we
defiantly could have won the race, the second race was rough but
provided a great learning experience, and a lot of situational
racing."-Colby said after the race. The night was also special
for the 17 year old driver as it was just his second ever race
competing against his father, veteran driver Greg Potts. Colby
managed to hold off his older teammate- who piloted the #55
Nascimento Motorsports Western Late Model- in
both main events. Colby's next race is August 13th at Stockton 99, in
the 100 Lap Race for Autism. The next weekend (August 20th) Colby
will make his Spears SRL South West Tour debut at Stockton 99.
